Introduction
The WIEF-UiTM International Centre, the product of a collaboration between the WIEF Foundation and UiTM, is proud to present the WBN Women Entrepreneurs Workshop with the theme "Women in New Business Frontiers". The WIEF Businesswomen Network (WBN), an initiative established in 2006 by the WIEF Foundation, is aimed at providing a networking berth for women entrepreneurs across the world especially in Muslim countries and societies. WBN also develops programmes to stimulate business activities amongst women entrepreneurs and to empower women in business. The Workshop
The workshop, a 2-week entrepreneurial course, is specially designed to empower women entrepreneurs with skills necessary for them to compete in the global marketplace. At the end of the course, participants would gain extensive knowledge on crucial leadership skills, hands-on experience in business management, and a new circle of contacts with fellow women entrepreneurs.
The workshop aims to educate entrepreneurs through a series of lectures and special talks by guest speakers who are industry practitioners and successful entrepreneurs, group roundtable discussions, e-business sessions, a 'Bring Your Own Case' experiential workgroup and industrial study excursions to various local businesses in the country.
